As usual there is a CLASH going on the same time as our Clash LIVE AND LET GOLF IN THE VOTS

As previous CLASH events, I will also gift 5 passes to each member as I see they have entered the event. I will be playing intermittently throughout the event, so please message me directly if you have entered and you don't receive them.

Hi Terri....the Clash is a "point based system" so pretty much you want to birdie as many holes (12 points each) as you can. Pars are also helpful (5 points each) but bogies are only worth 2 points and doubles or worse are only worth 1. My approach is to play safe on the harder holes and be more aggressive on the easier ones. I play a lot so I'm very familiar with all the courses and what holes to be careful on the harder holes and more aggressive on the easier ones (especially the par 5's). If you hit a bad shot and are looking at bogie be sure to make a good attempt at the par....if you bogie the hole it's no big deal because bogies and doubles are only worth a couple points each so make sure you try to get your ball close, if not in. Also, passes are regenerated every 4 hours after you use them (instead of the usual 12) so you can play at least once each clash. If you have the credits to spare, buy more in the pro shop....there is a discount if you buy 5, 10, or 20 so if you can afford it, take advantage of that. Paul and Cory will gift you 5 credits once you play at least 1 round and they are very handy if they use them right....if we are way behind or way ahead in a match, don't use them because you'll essentially be throwing them away. Hope this helps a little..it sounds complicated but one you play a clash or 2 you'll see how easy it really is. Hope you play a bunch and use your credits wisely...Jim

CLASH RULES

CLASH RULES AND RESULTS
" As I have explained before . The sole purpose for these CLASHES is to play as many individual rounds as possible . While purchasing passes , mostly , and the use of a few free passes . Each members high totals will help to win each CLASH . And the accumulative total of each members points in each CLASH help in the CC's place on the leader board .
A round cannot be played without purchasing or using a free pass or a SuperPass ( only a few available ), doled out to the directors to be used strategically and efficiently .
If you are unable to purchase passes . A couple of us will happily send you a couple 5 packs of passes . This is an all in event and is very drawing , consuming , addictive and costly . If you do not like this format . Then it is not a good event for you . Shouldn't even trouble yourself . There are still CC tourneys and the like to play . The CLASH is not a mandatory CC event . Only play if you like them and can contribute . Other than that you will likely get frustrated . "

Unlike most events here in WGT . These Clashes have some benefits and rewards .
The highest benefit of all I think is high level of team spirit , togetherness and camaraderie that we as a CC have enjoyed on many occasions whether we win or lose . But of course most felt and celebrated with a win , And more so in the past when we all would post and communicate , praise and celebrate much more .
It is also very nice that WGT offers prizes for CC's that finish in the top 25 out hundreds of CC's that participate in everyone of these . Prizes that can be used and shared with the whole CC forever .
Here are some we have won in the past .

And when we were not in the top 25 . Almost every other time finished in the top 50 . That is not because we have more money to spend to feed their cash cow . It is because we come together and do what it takes as a team as best as we can .

In these events . There are always some very high point contributors . This is very awesome and duly noted and highly appreciated . Being that these high point contributors are not competing against each other . But rather giving their all for the sole benefit of the CC . And that is so evident . We always make mention of that and all contributing participants . But do not feel the need to post the individual high scorers scores . That is not what it is about and I think everyone else is in agreement with that .

In every CLASH from the very beginning . I post a thank you on the wall of the owner of every CC that we meet in these CLASHES . Showing our appreciation to them for our event with them .

I am just saying .
In fact . Ultimately . it would nice if some new fresh players could come in and pick up some slack for our anchor men . The finishers . and let them get some rest .
But there I go dreaming again . Lol . Just having fun .
