Welcome Johny and ARNIES ARMY . Congrats on putting together a 13 player team so quickly .
This thread VALLEY OF THE SUN vs ARNIES ARMY here in Community-Organized Tournaments . Will be used as a common place for both teams and CC's to use to communicate throughout this event . For inquiries , comments , contacting your match up , posting scores , updates , comments on your rounds , etc . Please post your scores here . I will keep the scorecard current .
This will be match play . A 2 round event . 1st round Pebble Beach fr 9 and 2nd round Pebble beach bk 9 .
The 2 rounder at Pebble Beach . 2 separate rounds . Round 1 PB fr 9 , Round 2 PB bk 9 . To be played as separate rounds . Can be played on different days . Or can be played back to back as two separate rounds .
It is up to the two matched players from each team to decide on that .
It is up to the two matched players on each team to contact , friend , and arrange their matches according to their schedules . Sometimes it is necessary to put a little extra effort out to make this happen .
These matches are meant to be friendly and competitive . A good way to meet some new GR8 people from another CC . And continue the friendship through possible multi player matches in the future .
Being that this is the Holiday Season the time frame of just over 2 weeks is tentative and can be extended if needed to complete everyones rounds .

Hi All,
Round 1, PB front 9, jaykei and I went back and forth finishing the ninth all square. On the first extra hole I drove into the bunker and had to pitch out but made a great recovery to some how halve the hole. Next up, the par 5 second. This time hard in to the wind. we both laid up then got up and down for birdies. We then went to the third extra hole. Two good tee shots, two good approaches, jaykei away. Just missed the birdie, leaving a tap in. My 9 footer curled at the last second and dropped in for the win!
Great match and great fun!
We're playing the second round Tuesday night California time, Wednesday morning for jaykei.

soory Shalermike did not meet Arnie , whoops eye got him mixed up with another player from club lol ! but he did work in Latrobe Pa. lol.

Holy crap ! You would not believe what Johny and I went through a little while ago . Lol .
I finally got one of his invites and we started off . And as usual on # 1 P B . I got a disconnect . But we played on . I don';t know maybe the 7th or 8th hole . Johny has his second timeout and the match ended . So I clicked rematch . We started again . I said hey how about we restart I'll reset and go with the 90 second clock . So okay . We try a third time . Oops I hit challenge and Johny has no credits lol didn't want challenge . Reset again 4th try . All good we get going Johny is up by 2 i can't make a putt to save my life . But BAM . My 3rd disconnect . DQ's me .
We try a 5th time again I'm 3 and out . So we haven't played yet . We're going to try again in a little while .

Round 2, Pebble Beach Back 9, jaykei vs. DufferJohn7
Another fun match fighting the really tough greens. I took an early lead and looked to stretch it out but jaykei held tough. Going to 17 2 up, I hacked it and jaykei took advantage so we went to 18 dormie. Jaykei hit the "bloddy tree" off the tee but recovered to put the second shot just off the green but in the rough. I was on the green but well away. A great chip from jaykei left a tap in birdie but I managed a 2 putt to halve and take the match 1 up.
We both had fun and hit 'em mostly straight,

Just wanted to tell e1 from Valley of the Sun CC and Arnie's Army
Eye played Paul last night and eye Sent 1,000 Volts threw his Putter when he tried to Putt !
He was missing 5 footers from everywhere ! hehe ! eye whipped his Tail-End ! lol ! 1UP
Now eye pray he does'nt send 100,000 VOLTS into my Putter ! (:--} on the back 9 hehe !

Hello All,
Im heading to Canada, Calgary, for Christmas tomorrow so Lobojoex2 and I played both of our matches tonight.
Joe was a great guy from Ontario and played well in our first match. We went back and forth and we're tied that went an extra hole, but I birdied Pebbles 1st hole to win the front. On the back 9, Joe had some bad luck especially on a few putts above holes. I ended up winning 4up.
I enjoyed the games and his company. Wonderful person!
I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Gods Blessings!

I sent a message to josephcatfish69 on 12/16 trying to get these matches scheduled and have not heard back yet. I sent him another message today following up.
I suspect people haven't been able to play as much with the holidays; that's been my problem too. Hopefully we can keep moving on this next week.

Hey Paulie, eye have players trying to hook up with your players but they say they havent heard anything from them lol ! oh well i'll try and talk to them again, eye did say im not sure this is going to be easy...because we are all so busy trying to keep up with all the free money cc tourneys going on. And people having babies, and Falling in love, Falling out of love hehe, losing jobs,getting new jobs, Catching there wife in bed with a Golf Pro....Like Andy Duframe did ! in the ShawShank Redemption hehe !

IMozeti (Igor) and I just finished playing. We split the match. He crushed me on the front and I took the back. Really great guy!!!
Front 9 = IMozeti won 33-35
Back 9 = CoryGRobinson won 34-36

Oops... We did stroke play. However, I saved a snapshot of both scorecards.
IMozeti won the front 3 & 2.

The " c " on the scorecard signifies " cancelled " . It will be used when two players are not able to connect with each other . No forfeits or WD's . As I believe both have usually made equal efforts .

This event started a little over a month ago . With the holidays and this being ARNIE'S ARMY first interplay . It has been almost completely played . All matches were played well and very close . Johny has a GR8 team . We have met some new good friends for future multiplayer matches . Another GR8 success .
VOTSCC thanx the Army for their professionalism and sportsmanship . Hope to play another in the future .
