PHOENIX – In recognition of National Voter Registration Day, Recorder Stephen Richer and his team continue to conduct voter list maintenance and encourage voters to check Be Ballot Ready.
“Our team is proud to serve Maricopa County every day and assist our community with their voter registration needs,” said Recorder Stephen Richer. “We have worked hard over the last few years to clean up the voter rolls and help make sure registration information is accurate and up to date. In fact, our office’s active registered voter list decreased by 159,855 from the 2020 General Election to the 2022 General Election.”
“We also encourage voters to check BeBallotReady.Vote,” he continued. “Be Ballot Ready has voter registration information and personalized election information all in one spot - and it’s very easy to navigate.”

Under Recorder Stephen Richer’s leadership, Maricopa County’s active registered voter list decreased by nearly 160,000 in just two years — all while Maricopa remains the fastest-growing county in the nation.
