FROM THE WGT THREAD -NOT FROM THE SHORT LIST

It seems like for forever I have been referring to " the short lists " . I can see from the short lists that there is a lot of this or that . But to make the long list just seems impossible .
One of those lists I have been reluctant to tackle . Is a list of my old CC mates from VOTSCC . I can't make them all trophies . ( i already have ) . But I would love to thank them . For being part of the funnest and most rewarding group and adventures I have experienced here in WGT . And a highlight of my life . It was that good . You would have to have been there .
I figured out how to do that . And it is one of the long lists . For sure . This list will also include many acquaintances , friends , CC owners , multiplayer mates , etc .
But mostly 90 % are VOTSCCers . I never counted them before . I still haven't . But I have always said if we had kept them all . We could have made 2 full CC's . That turns out to be true .
Here is a list of 780 with all of the above . With over 500 ex VOTSCCers .

This list is not even close to all of the acquaintances ,friends , CC owners , multiplayer mates , I have had the pleasure of meeting here in WGT . I don't plan on making that list .
But it is the most complete list of VOTSCCers I can come up with .There are even more than this list shows . As there were dozens more that I never shared a message with . I have no record of them . As when they closed the CC . With it went an astounding amount of information . That is gone forever . All good on that . Ancient history .
Sincerely though . To all my old VOTSCCers . Thank you for all the GR8 times we had . Brief or long . Through all of the intense events ,

Our CC Forum . Our comradery , dedication , interest in others . Willingness and eagerness to help .
Though we kept the roster at around 50 to 60 . The main group was there for years . This small group fought tooth and nail in every event . Mostly underdogs because of size . But we had some wins and some formidable players .
Very high turnover rate . By my choice for the most part . But others chose other paths as well . I really think we saw more than 600 players go through over the years .
Still for many years we had a GR8 thing going amongst us . The best Tournament Director . Many GR8 tourney makers . Stroke Bracket and CTTH Bracket Directors . Blitz Directors .And of course GR8 members .

All very professional and willing to put it out to ensure that they were fun an organized events .
I asked a lot . Never demanded . But I did want to do everything . Even more than we were doing . I/we had so much fun . I believe that most members would feel the same and agree .
I just wanted to be sure . ( after I left ) . That we were still all good . We parted on good terms . Even though it was tough for both myself and them . Eventually they moved on . That is totally cool . All good . I hope all are happy and enjoying where they are .
This is my chance to reach out to all those GR8 VOTSCCers and WGTers . Many of us were together for years . And say thanx for the good times and bad times and all the crazy times .
May the SUN always be with US .

That's a helluva list . But I am finding some that aren't on it . Eventually I will have a more complete list . Then I will post it . It'll be a while .

It's a good thing I don't have that problem . I found a few projects that keep me busy . Keep me happy .
During this Pandemic . Work has been sporadic . Had a lot of time to spare .
Have a new contract starting in a few days . Back to the grind .

You are very funny Craig . The truth is . I have may many friends here . I still play and chat with regularly . I can't think of any of them that ever visit the Forums .
Of course that wasn't always the case . Wayne and Alan and others , we all played frequently for ever . But like so many others . I don't see them around the forums any longer .
I would venture to guess that they barely play anymore . If at all .
Sad state of affairs . Indeed .

As I intended . I put faces to the names above . The many acquaintances , friends , CC owners , multiplayer mates , Forum participants , CLASH opponents , Legends , mentors , idols , ambassadors , teachers , many Andyson Annual Memorial participants , etc , etc . I have run across about 350 more for this list . The total nearing 1000 . Still separate from the " TRAILBLAZERS " . And the " MIA " lists .

This is the largest group yet . There are 28 blocks of pics that had to be resized , hosted and posted . Without skipping any or repeating any . Lol . Piece of cake . Lol . In the " TRAILBLAZER " thread I used the image url's . But I can't see the pics until posted . This time I inserted each block . Doesn't make it any less confusing . I think I got it right .

After he/she posted endless putting "advice"..."le chevy"?, I asked why his/her own putting wasn't any better?....he/she responded "results weren't the point!!"... alrighty then...bring on Henry and Flatearth !!

No comparison . The time spent doing these honors and tributes amounts to a few rounds of time . Very constructive time spent .
5000 Strokeplay
1000 altshot
500 Matchplay
Several thousand Blitz and CTTH .
Countless rounds lost to disconnects .
I've played plenty . I'm competitive enough . Confident of that .

I count 1494 profile pics here . And 783 names above . The players with more than 1 profile pic . Do not make up that discrepancy . Obviously there are more from other lists . Than I knew . Wonder if I will ever sort this out ? Not anytime soon .

Time for an update .

When I first started sorting out my lists . I had several .
I was going to try and keep them separate .

The first list was basically all the CC mates that went through VOTSCC over the years . What I had in my messages and wall posts . Combined with acquaintances , friends , CC owners , multiplayer mates , etc .

The second list was going to be in addition to the first list but with the participants of the first 2 ANDYSON MEMORIAL TOURNAMENTS .

The third list is the " TRAILBLAZERS " .Which the 500 in that list is still separate . Except for some that friended me and thanked me or messaged me .

There was going to be a 4th list . With Forumers that I had interacted with over the years . I never started that list . Probably won't .

Simply because there are already many of those in the first 2 lists .

When I made the first short list . I had only partially gone through the ANDYSON tourney's lists . Now I have many more of those . Some of the profile pics that were there . Were not listed in the player list.

And . Lol . I said I had looked through my wall and messages . But I forgot my whole friends list . I added those too .

And names just trickle in .

In the end I want the player list to match the list of profile pics .

I have an updated list now . With about 154 more added .

I haven't been spending any time on it . So it has taken a while . And this is probably the last update . Even if a few more pop up.

Then there is always that wonderful feeling of " who have I left out ?" . Lol . " they are probably saying " " i can't believe that jerk forgot about me " . Lol jk not .

Anyway here is about 154 more . The list below has been added to the list above . And the profile pics above is updated .

As usual in place of the shadow pics and players I can't find a profile for I have placed various avatars ( the ones with drivers ) in their place

There are some players with more than 1 profile pic . There are some players with more than 1 profile .

Of course I had to redo the pics blocks . Lots of fun .

There is no point . That I expect anyone to care about or understand .
Back when I was a CC Owner it made sense for me to keep various lists of active and or non active members of my CC .
Lists of who received what award . Who didn't .Trophy's , XP's , participants , etc
Those lists . Especially the members lists . Were many . And not well organized . And still on my computer .And amounted into the hundreds .
I only made half assed efforts to organize them over the years .I ignored them thinking I would get to it someday .
One list became an interest for me . How many players actually came through VOTSCC over the 5 plus years of its existence . I knew the number would be high . I thought somewhere around 400 to 500 .I still don't have an exact count . But it is up towards 600 and likely 700 .
So I started sorting them out .
About that time . Something happened in my website . Still basically unexplained to me .
Which found a GR8 amount of my files in my website had been corrupted in the same way .
Whether I could get an explanation or not . I had to fix it .
Some of my most cherished forums ( threads or topics ) . Were nearly ruined almost unreadable .
IE:
ANDYSON 2016 Series
ANDYSON 2017 Series
THE NEW LONG WALL
To name just a couple few out of dozens of very important TO ME efforts .
Those repairs included needing to have at least the usernames of the players/members/people in the thread . Those lists then became more organized and populated .
It took inside of a year to make the main repairs on most of the corrupt files . I am still finding some .
So anyway I now had members lists consisting of VOTSCCers , friends , acquaintances , CCowners , multiplayer mates , etc . Was 1 list .
The players/members of the wall list . Was another .
The ANDYSON MEMORIAL lists . Were another .
And as I was sorting all of them out . As necessary to repair my website /hobby .
Another list became apparent . The " TRAILBLAZERS " . A group I felt compelled to pay tribute to . A completely new group of players/members . Making another list .
So for the reasons I have stated above and many more that I would not expect you to understand . And could care less if you do . There is / was absolute justification for me to have these lists .
That is the short version of how the short list came to be .

Another big factor besides my own selfish reasons for having those lists . Is that when it came to having a readable organized product is important . If it is getting attention and appears to be popular .
Which a couple few of my efforts were getting some attention .

At least enough views that I really needed to fix , repair , and keep it maintained . To be readable to others .
