Okay Mafasi . Very funny . I get that you and Astar are one in the same .

That is not a problem .

However there is a couple other things of concern .

1 is , do you want your own forum to advertise https://homealliance.com/services/heating-and-air-conditioning

Here in my site ? If so all you have to do is ask .

Now I have stopped watching this forum .

When I posted the above . I had stopped watching this forum . By the time it posted , it had automatically turned the watching back on .

But nonetheless Paul got the email notification . With the watching turned off .

Which makes sense . He is the administrator .

Whether a topic is watched by the user posting or not

Paul should get email notifications .

not watched by the poster

BAM there it is " notification while not being watched ".

Now that that has been determined . The moderator that said I had a known issue was obviously correct .

MAFASI and ASTAR's notifications should have posted an email response regardless of watched status . .

Thank you azwiz .

azwiz is an account with a different email than Paul although both emails are linked . azwiz also does not have admin permissions .

Paul would not get emails for his own posts . But does get them from azwiz as he has a different email .

Okay now . I did not get an email from azwiz that time . Now that it is watched . I will try again .

Okay now that is weird . No email from azwiz .

Watched or not watched .

This sucks . Forum support does not believe my various scenarios . And they have no patience for me . .

I did have the tech's from GOOGLE ONE go through my gmail settings . They found no errors .

Yeah this really sucks . The azwiz account was the one thing I could rely on . Now I get no emails from him at all .

Rely on for technical issues when I need member status .

Judging by the " casino " type message that " ASTAR " posted on Sunday .

It appears to have been posted by a bot . Which makes me suspicious of " MAFASI " as well .

The message has been deleted .
