WOW! That's a lot of balls. I am deeply touched by the generosity of WGT members, and I would like to send out a huge thank you to all of you.
Casey, you and your contributors are a fantastic group of people for doing this. I don't really feel as though I deserve this gift, but I know that doing things for others feels good, so I understand the reason for it. Thank you. : )

Fabulous gesture, Bushwhackers - kudos.

Casey,
The gift to Scott is well deserved. He does a lot helping out players who encounter problems with computer related things on this site. His equipment tables are a very useful tool for comparing different clubs and balls. Well deserved Scott. And thanks for all you do to help us out.

Yes, it most certainly is. Scott is always there to help anyone that may need technical assistance, and, has a vast store of information which he shares freely. Definitely one of WGT's good guys. Kudos again, Bushwackers.

I agree with all of this many times over. Not only is Scott generous with his support and assistance to any who need it, he does it with a lack of ego, arrogance, sarcasm or temper. I have never seen Scott berate or belittle anyone for their lack of knowledge or mistakes they've made (which makes him a better person than me for a start), and he is, in short, a gentleman.
Thumbs up!

Thanks also to Casey and everyone at the BWCC for recognizing Scott and Bowl64 with your generous gifts.
Casey-
Since it appears that WGT won't be continuing their "19 Hole" anymore...what about naming it something like the "WGTPA 19th Hole" (WGT Players Association 19th Hole)?

Thank you so much for this gift...that is a lot of golf balls. I'll be using them for a very long time.
Thanks as well to all the members of the Bushwackers Country Club for creating this great idea to recognize your fellow community members...you exemplify the best of what so many love about this game.
To my fellow nominee ChaplainMC, congratulations and enjoy those new clubs.
Lastly, a quick thank you to Cuber again for the nomination and I'm glad you're safe from Irma.

As a newbie to WGT and Paul's Country Club, I couldn't agree more about his patience and knowledge. When I first joined his club, I knew nothing about 'Country Club Life'. He walked me through many different things. I still am learning from him. I would like to add, his encouragement has made this game a true pleasure.

You guys are carrying on a tradition that is much to be commended. Please, and, this is directed to any former and future naysayers, just keep your pieholes shut. This is a community of like minded individuals who really don't need your negative input. Yes, it is an "open" forum, but, the people selected, are selected on merit by their peers. This is an accomplishment that is achieved by mutual respect. While we may not always agree on certain things, we should always agree that when someone is doing a solid for someone else, there should be no issues with that. Good should sometimes be rewarded, it's as simple as that.

This is a community of like minded individuals who really don't need your negative input. Yes, it is an "open" forum, but, the people selected, are selected on merit by their peers. This is an accomplishment that is achieved by mutual respect.

TY MC, it's a very thoughtful gesture, but, I've always paid my own way here, and will continue to do so. I'm sure there are many who could use a benefactor more than I. Thanks all the same, trust me, I'm honored, but I'll decline. All good on the Bushwhackers, a true class act.

Doc, from what I've seen you are very worthy of the nomination and the award, but in deference to your feelings about paying your own way here, maybe Casey and the Bushwackers would consider letting you pass along the "gift" to the player(s) of your choosing who you deem worthy and in need.

1st off, I've only been nominated. Secondly, should that carry through, yes i would. As for Dnierf, please explain yourself, and your comments, which seem to be somewhat untoward. I ask for nothing, I've given freely of what little I have, be it credits, or just some advice when asked. Straight up, always have, always will. There are genuine people on here, do they include you. Dneirf.? BTW, you obviously missed, or chose to ignore my "piehole" comment. Get it sorted, reply on your own time, I'd be more than happy to engage in a little public discourse. Popcorn will be served free of charge, come one, come all, seats are fillin' up fast.
Edit: In respect for this thread: I'm goin' elsewhere to "anything else " . Thanks guys.

Due to the current state of the site . And the complete inconvenience of moderation . I am going to express my gratitude now to those that have supported this surprising nomination . From a circle of some of the finest individuals I have had the honor and pleasure to associate with here in WGT . All throughout these forums . In countless multiplayer matches that are always epic in some way or another . And to those go to PM's . When you gotta just ask some one " Can you believe ...........? . Lol . Really . I would hope many many others got it like that with others as well ............ To the hosts of these Christmases , Foundations , 12 days . That take the time to assist and recognize and help keep some of this at a very respectable level ........... Thanx to you ............ Paul <><><><><><><><><><><><><><>DonaldRGregory

Casey typically humbly thinking he was getting too much of the credit for this . i acknowledged that yes he is in good company .
I will be sure to make mention of his piers .
But the " Gift of Golf Foundation " is his baby . And can proudly take full credit .
This GR8 list is just a short list of the events , players , and CC's that have all given the most of themselves .

Wow Casey, I am blown away and very humbled by the generosity of the Gift of Golf Foundation, Casey and The Bushwackers.CEverett12:
Congratulations alanti (Alan) One dozen level 61 Nikes .
Good Luck sir .
In my time at WGT I have seen unbelievable "random acts of kindness", initially when LeGeNdCrUsHeR gave some considerable gifts away, and followed up by MrCaddie 12 days of Christmas and variations, to others like Alcaucin and other WGT players unselfish acts of randomly offering gifts to the WGT community.
I have always supported Wayne for the 12 days of Christmas, and I have always felt that giving is more important than taking....so I promise to pay this forward.
Last year Wayne gave me the inspiration to help those who are less fortunate (outside of WGT) at Christmas, The pleasure that gave to me was unbelievable (and I will not go into details). so to all the WGT community, do what you can for those less fortunate than ourselves, whether it is helping someone cross the road or something as innocuous as a smile (in real life) or giving advice to your fellow members. ...
Once again Casey and the Bushwackers, please accept my humble gratitude.conveyorguy

It is quite overwhelming Alan . I agree . To be on the recipient end is really a humbling rush
It means so much to me
i will spare the details
But Thank you
I thought I could spare the detailsalanti:
But food for thought, I wonder how many of those that are generous in the WGT community, also are very generous in their local communities or further afield?
I would guess a lot.........either in actual money or in volunteering their time for local projects.
I feel like this is the post i never made in the " Lets be Honest " thread . But being a giver . Is relative . In my life anyway .
Whether it is being on a commitee , or a special interest group .
Being a petitioner . Volunteering at a food bank .
Giving advice . Making donations .
The rewards are often just knowing that you have helped . Enough to make a difference .
That is very satisfying .
Also being an Election Board Worker for the last 12 years .being able to help with the American right to vote process
( and believe me it needs help ) lol . Now being head inspector of my own precinct . Is also very rewarding .
But when I came to WGT . It took me a couple years before I started Valley of the SUN Casual Club C C . Once I did . I was in heaven . I could give and provide and create and assist to the dying end . And never be done and never catch up . The balls , the equipment , the tutorials , the information , the guidance , the passes , the trophy's and accolades . has kept me very happy and very busy for 3 and a half years now . So busy i forgot to play . For so long i seriously lost my momentum and forgot how .
But all the satisfaction and pleasure i have received by helping and watching so many players develop into awesome WGT golfers .
it has been incredible . Personal bests in events like my / our daily BLITZ . Where the first milestone was players scoring 1 million points in a week . Then it was 1 million points in 1 round . Done several times . These things are rare and incredible to witness . many more . and i make trophy's for that kind of stuff . Thousands of them .
Very rewarding . and since i have never won anything . I thought that the satisfaction of being part of it was the ultimate reward .
But I was wrong . i can count on 1 hand the times i got something back or won something . Like this nomination from the gift of golf .
I gotta tell you . It is a rush i cannot describe .
You're going to laugh but there was another time .

Hi folks
I maybe an outsider in this thread, but I did read it (well, not all indeed) and I like and apreciate the idea of people with a lot of credits gifting goods as a special gesture to special players here at WGT. I want to throw two names in, maybe names that are already written again, but I wanna try to explain why I do in my broken english.
First name is Lizard69. Not only because he was my mentor, teached me and so many others so much about the game, helped with that and with his generousity and with his videos too. Also because he is such a nice and brave guy. Yes, brave, because of the way he handles his health issus. I know so well since last year I had my heart attack and my own surgeries how it is to live with that. In some special way he his my hero here at WGT.
Second name is Yancy. I know he also had a hard time lately. And I want to remind you all here how much fun he braught to us with his paranormal investigations.
So, if possible and not already done, I want to nominate Lizard69 and YancyCan.
Peace, Friedelpdb1

Well understood .
One thing I would like to point out . These GR8 players / members are being recognized not just by
.ostfriedel:
people with a lot of credits
That has nothing to do with it . But recognized by first Casey and the THE BUSHWACKERS . . A top outstanding CC . A GR8 representation of sportsmanship .
And by others that know and recognize these recipients as on going , long time upstanding players / members that continually give and share and assist . selflessly to many in the WGT community
Lizard69 and YancyCan . Prime examples .garypinhunter

I am so thankful for the nomination. I ask that someone else receive a golf gift. I have the best clubs and I use the 10 credit ball. I have about 20 nike balls. I think what CEverett12 has done with this thread is just great. Garyalanti:CEverett12:

I, Dneirf, want to take this moment to publicly apologize to CEverett12 in regards to the unwarranted comments made by Dneirf earlier within this Thread.
The comments have since been removed by moderation and I apologize, please forgive me.
Tried to Post on your Profile Wall but Dneirf is obviously denied access via personal blocking list.
There is no need to remain imprisoned behind an blocking list, but that is your prerogative.
At the time of the unwarranted behavior Dneirf was recovering from WGT Deviation Syndrome and lost control of dignity, honor, and respect.
Again, my humble apologies to CEverett12.
This Post is void of any intentions seeking any nominations and/or gifts of any kind from the Gift of Golf Foundation for Dneirf.
This is only an public apology in effort to make things right. It is not good if tension exists in the community.

Ok , Dneirf - Apology accepted .
Thank you for reaching out in public forum , We all say things we regret at times . The WGT community can be harsh but we should all respect each other even if we disagree.
Ill unblock you from my list , There is no reason for further hostilities .
The Gift of Golf Foundation is just a way to show our appreciation for the members in the community that deserve recognition . No more & no less .
We all share common ground , We love the game , Sometimes people disagree on things and that's fine , There is no reason to attack or belittle people because they cant spell or use comma's correctly , I know my writing skills are not very good .
I'm not here to argue with anyone or make enemy's .

DonaldKey, I couldn't of said it better myself.
I have been out of commission for several months, thus I didn't know about this thread until today. I have read most of the threads and couldn't believe nobody nominated the Boss (how I refer to Casey).
Many don't know about the health problems Casey as gone through and he continues to be a Man among men and he is so generous. Always there to help. We are blessed to have such a Man as the Boss of our Country Club.
God Bless you Casey,

Good one Paul.
this is the 73rd " WGT KICK ASS 1st POSTER AWARD " .
.
Something i started . First to award someone with a trophy . Probably the only trophy they will ever receive . At least they have that . And also as a contribution to the forums .
Some of them have been a little comical like this one .

It seems you need a twitter account, and need to tweet about each birdie made for the donation to go through...bummer on WGT for that.
Well actually, PNC Financial Services makes the donation, not WGT. Why am I not surprised. Off to Arnie's Army to send my 4$.CEverett12

How cool is this! I will humbely accept this honor and thank all who are behind this. Now I have read this thread a few times here and theres and seems like just what a common man like myself could truly appreciate. Maybe I got a shot at "tiering up" from the tour master tier to the next one and whatnots with a boost from the community!
Nice to see ConvoyOrGuy next to myself!
Best to all in 2018 & I will be back to share the experiences I have with a little boost from you alls (might try doing whats called a vidya clip or two for this)

Yes...I knew Casey fairly well from Alt Shot. He was also on my FL and we PM'd often.A very classy guy and CC owner.
Fact is that many players "defend" how generous they are behind the scenes. But in my 10+ years being active on here, those who were the generous ones didn't have to post it in the forum. Everybody already knew, from tremendous initiatives like the Gift of Golf and Xmas in July.
RIP, mi amigo.

Casey was definitely one of the good ones. In connection with gift of golf, we had a fair amount of conversations. He is definitely missed.Robert1893
