Once again . Since his departure . Our friend the Irish dwarf Gary has attacked a main forum post of mine .
I decided to go out on a limb in Country Club Corner and invite some females to the CC . They are so much fun . And Nanqueen could use some company .
My post THINGS GO BETTER WITH GIRLS . Is harmless .
I do not need any defending against Gary's accusations . And no one is obligated to do so . And i don't blame anyone that just prefers not to get involved .
But it would be nice to get CC support in some of these battles . Every once in a while a member will post a little support but not often .
I can handle myself . And i have other supporters . but I just wanted to give you guys a heads up . In case you wanted to throw your 2 cents worth in .
Just ignore Gary . He won't hear what anyone has to say anyway .
I mean more in the defense of the topic . Or my character . I know I would be all in for any one of you . And i have before when some one attacks a members wall or in the forum .

Hmmmmmmmm.....sounds like the "gas chamber" all over again, but I'm not in the cross hairs here. Gary was a real ass when he was here, and I just thought it was because he wasn't running the CC, but I guess he's just an ass in general. Off I go to the main Forum.

That was a very unfortunate ordeal with URS . One of the finest gentlemen I have met at WGT . Sad that the nerve that subject struck could not be worked out . He is still missed by me .
Gary is not the same animal .
But Thanx Jim . Just a comment about our intentions would suffice .

LOL....have you met me yet? Asking me for a "short" anything from me is funny, especially when I actually have an opinion or feeling about something. Anyway, I just posted there and it went to "Moderation"..it will either get posted shortly or I'll be banned from posting in the future....flip of the coin. I don't get to pick my battles . The half pint hitch hiked on my thread . I basically took it with a grain of salt . made a comment to him or two . And revalidated the post and hope to move on .

it also urks me that Jim and others have to be moderated . Wait forever for their posts . i sometimes fly off the handle in those forums ( you think ? ) and even get profane . They never moderate me .

For what it's worth (as a new member of this Country Club). I read the original post, "Things Go Better With Girls" and must admit, I didn't think twice about it. Harmless in my view. But the response I read from the gentleman in question was (in my humble opinion) uncalled for, to say the least. I'm a bit....actually more than a bit surprised that the moderators of WGT didn't step in and say something. I truly did not think WGT Forums where a place for that type of uncalled for messaging.
As I mentioned I'm new to this Country Club and Forum and perhaps I shouldn't say anything, but I hate to see this kind of thing put in to a public gaming forum.
If I have in any way offended anyone by my making this statement i sincerely apologize.

Not out of line at all Dave......I've had the displeasure of meeting Gary here on WGT because he owned a CC that folded up (imagine that) and he and a few of his members came here. From moment 1, he was a problem and it progressed to the point of me seriously considering leaving the club...that would take a lot, but I was at that point. WGT is supposed to be a fun and relaxing thing, and for me it is, but someone like him really shows you how bad some people feel about themselves and have to try to bait other people to stoop to their level and engage in a confrontation and make it a lot less fun. I have no idea why WGT hasn't booted him yet....I've recently started using the main forum and he has posts all over the place again showing how inferior he feels. His rant in this particular post should not have been allowed, and I'm on the fence about reporting him to WGT.....I'm not sure what position that would put me in on here though so I'm going to remain passive at this point unless he really pisses me off. I replied in that post, but it went to "Moderation", so I'm hoping that it gets posted there sooner rather than later....Have a great Sunday.....Jim

Dave . I am more worried that my behavior will disappoint you . You and I and many thousands of others do not approve of the levels of inappropriate , poor taste , insulting , defaming etc . That has gone on unmoderated for way too long .
Even myself who doesn't sink to the depths that others do find myself too caught up in the inappropriateness of the main forums .
I apologize and want to assure you that you have not offended anyone . Your voice and opinion is very valuable here in our CC .
Let me give you a little history on this particular scenario .
Our little man Gary irisheyes5 . Is a very accomplished player . And Was a very accomplished CC owner . Until for whatever reasons decided to disband his very popular CC " IRISHICOULDPUTT" . He encouraged his members to join our CC . As he did as well . He and they were greeted with the highest respect .
He and I bumped heads and I tried to keep it completely professional . I am one that thrives on healthy conversations . It didn't go well and he soon left .
Many of his previous members were lost here and did not pick up on our protocol . I am happy to say that we were able to retain a couple of his finest members .
After that he was bitter and has attacked me on a couple of occasions in the main forums . I shine him on .
That is all . His unfounded accusations that some members tied to me are multi accounters is just that . Unfounded .

I hear you, over the two years I'm here I've made 6 or 8 posts to the main forums all were held for moderation. Guess I'm on a terror watch list or something.
Paul my post over there should get posted sometime. I actually took both of you to task for all the bickering. But I know Gary can be quite a pain in the ass so don't go low like he does. You're too committed to the game and club to get bogged down in that nonsense.

Well, I guess I wasn't subtle enough....my post didn't make it through (it's not there, although Scott's, Ron's, John's and a couple others are). What they did do was delete all Gary's shyt....with any luck deleted him (his account) too

I can't deal with all the drama but knowing both parties I have to say every time I think about my old club owner, The "Irish Dwarf", as Paul described him, I can't stop laughing.
