[*]The latest to do the rounds is the revelation that there's a "secret" Facebook inbox most of us don't know about - and it may contain messages you'd like to read, but had no idea you'd received.
It essentially works as a spam inbox. When someone you're not Facebook friends with tries to contact you, you'll often get a "message request" letting you know.
However, not every message leads to a notification. If Facebook decides something is probably spam, it gets diverted to the Message Request inbox, where it can languish unread.
To view all these messages:

Open up Facebook Messenger on your phone
Hit the "Settings" icon in the top right corner
Select "People"
Select "Message Requests"
Below the messages that appear there, hit the link saying "See filtered messages"

And there you have it. Follow those steps and you might be opening the door on a load of unsolicited communication - or you might find something useful you'd have otherwise missed.

John your method may be the Iphone method .
Here is the Android way
Go to facebook
Go to your timeline page
scroll down to the bottom
click account settings
on the bottom of that page click support inbox
That takes you to an inbox the people can reach you at bypassing your gmail or email and phone number .
