Has anyone bought the notebook from the pro shop? Is it helpful, does it work like they discribe?
It would be cool to keep some notes, as I have CRS, seems like it gets worse every yr too...lmao
Seems like a better investment then an avatar or golf bag...lol

I would be interested if anyone is using the notebook also.
I personally use one note on my computer for WGT notes, but the downside to that is switching to a different window to view or edit them.

I use it it doesn;t run out best for recording +/- yardage for things like the Blitz or par 3's where conditions are constant gradually you iterate to the perfect % hit on the meter
Point is it is only a relatively cheap investment
Only thing with Blitzs is that it is best to record on paper your percentage then transfer to the notebook

Al;so It can only be edited in single play . You can only refer to it during a match with one or more .

Thanks All!
It might work for what I want to save, but other ways might be cheaper and/or easier. If I do try it some point, I'll post my thoughts of it.

The bag stand is very cool . If I need them I have 4 different bags setup at my ready .
1) All my top equipment
2) All starters
3) Up through my wedges .no drivers or woods
4) My old G20 Ping set . Just for fun
The $ 5.00 for the notebook isn't bad . It lasts forever . You just have to remember to use it and make entries when your playing alone . So that you can refer to it during an event .

I bought the notebook about 6 months ago, I have maybe 3 entries in from the 1st day. I thought it would be helpful because my memory is shot, but I just haven't used it. Pretty much the same thing I did with my notebooks in high school.

Ohh, I think I got it. You can have multiple bags and set em up different and just choose a bag you want to play with? That would be good on like the par 3 or blitz games, you could have more wedge choices since ya rarely need your long clubs.
Something to look at in the future once I get all the clubs I want.
Thanks Paul!

Yes Tiny . there was a time in ancient yore . When the Valley of the Sun fancied the likes of the fabled tournaments such as " Beginners Equipment Only " where the young lads would banty the ball about with starter sticks and those all white balls made of lead .
Anther game from yester was the " No Drivers Allowed ". Where wedges were used to reach yon fairway .
Aye those were the days mate .

I'll set up a Beginner's Clubs / Balls only tomorrow. They are a blast to play but in the 2 previous tournaments set up like this someone uses their regular clubs to mess things up....everyone needs to know what the format is and hopefully just use their beginners clubs / balls. What course should I set it up with (I'm thinking St. Andrews from the red tee's)...let me know...Jim

The title of the post here in the forum that you make . " BEGINNERS EQUIPMENT ONLY " . The title of the tournament " BEGINNERS EQUIPMENT ONLY " . Will be a big clue . And the best you can do Jim . I think we did finally have a successful 3rd tournament . I think .
We just have to go for it . I think this group is on it more than before . It will work .

Jim,
St. Andrews/Red tees sounds good to me. Now that I have more space between using beginners equipment and balls, I'm curious how well I will do with this one.
