For what you can purchase because of your level, I think the spider is a pretty good putter. I used it for a while and  never had any complaints. In fact I wished I didn't "upgrade" when I did, because I putted terrible with my 2nd putter. I recently purchased my 3rd (Odyssey Tank K2) and have been very happy with it.
I have some nerve damage in my right hand and it's hard for me to continuously get the ping on the meter, so I look for something with a lot of forgiveness and the Spider has that. Also I always look at the reviews on the clubs and the Spider has some very good ones. Also you can compare clubs, or rent them to try out.  I hope this helped.
Good luck with whichever one you chose.
Gene

  My input isn't going to help you much Pedrito . Because the

Odyssey Tank Cruiser V-Line Putter (L13+)

  is 995 credits

Odyssey Versa #7 Putter (L22+)

1,495 Credits

Odyssey Versa #1 Black Putter (L33+)

1,795 Credits
at your level .
  I have rented , purchased and tried on free weekends almost every putter . And yes they are as different as night and day . The increments , the meter speed , the forgiveness , the precision all make them unique .

PING Anser 2 Putter (L28+)

450 Credits
or the

PING Anser 2 Putter (L44+)

700 Credits

Extra precision and a slower WGT swing meter . Are what I recommend . I started with the PING REDWOODS . Which look like have been replaced by the ANSER series .

  I hope they have a free rental weekend soon so you can try some of the putters out .
  Good luck Pedrito .

  personally I chose PING's all the way up . Mainly because of the cost being lower . But after seeing that I was playing better than my piers that had spent the money on the TaylorMades . I went with all Ping's all the way . Even my G20 280 yd. driver out drove every other 282 yd driver . By the time I got my first

Callaway Big Bertha 10.5° Driver (Fubuki shaft) (L88+)

  I had a 294 yd. average with my G20 280 yd PING .
  I now have the

Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 9.0 Driver (Fubuki shaft) (L96+)

  and just hit the 299 yd. ave mark last week .

Its been a while since I tried the Spider . So I rented the

TaylorMade Ghost Spider Putter (L92+)
 then I played
Arnie's last of the Summer Wine 1 Best of par 4
  Not only did I suck . It was V F greens which I have never figured out . I never claim to be able to putt . But with that unfamiliar Spider . Forget it . 78 was the best I could do . Terrible . I do not know how anyone can get used to that many meters and increments on those types of putters .
Mine has 15 , 30 , 60 , 100 , 150 , 300
I think the Ping's have 15 , 30 , 45 , 90 , 150 , 300 ,
IDK what the Spider has but it scared me . Lol .  Although once I get to championship greens , I then may need the finer precision .
  plus it helps to know the increments ( avatar moves ) of each meter mine is
15 = 5' , 10' , 15'
30 = 6' , 12' , 18' , 24' , 30'
60 = 12' , 24' , 36' , 48' , 60'
100 = 14.2' , 28.4' , 42.6' , 56.8' , 71.8' , 85.2' , 99.9'
150 = 16.6' , 33.2' , 49.8' , 66.4' , 83' , 99.6' , 116.2' , 149.4'
300 = 30' , 60' , 90' , 120' , 150' , 180' , 210' , 240' , 270' , 300'

I think it comes down to what you get used to and like. I purchased the TM Spider and have not regretted it, since I can put decently with it. Every time I rent a different putter I suck with it, but that I think that would be the case with most new clubs initially, there is a learning curve for each. And since different putters have different increments it can take some time to figure out where on power you need to hit it.
Those are just my 2 cents.

Whichever putter you chose, be patient with it, Once you get used to it, hopefully you'll see the difference.
Good luck.

  Well said Ber3n . And because most people likely cannot afford to rent each one at $ 5.00 a pop . Hopefully a free rental weekend in the near future will allow enough time for someone to get a good feel for a putter

A. It's great that someone was kind enough to gift you that putter.  The putter that I currently have was also gifted to me - about 3 years ago & I am still using it.  That being the Nike Method level 77 putter.  And that putter costs 2,000 credits BTW.
B. Asking others their opinion on a putter will likely get you 100 different responses IMO.  For every person that says that they like a putter there are 2 who will tell you they tried it and didn't like it.  The point being you really have to try different putters and see what works best for you.   Personally I simply love my Nike Method 77 putter and will NEVER change to any other putter.  But there have literally been DOZENS of people who tell me they tried this very same putter and just came away frustrated by it.   Putters are like everything else here on WGT..........it is what you get used to.  I've seen Legend level player who still use the WGT free starter putter.  It's very simply what you get used to.
P.S. The very best lower level putter that I ever came across when I was back at those early levels - back in the stone age - was the

TaylorMade Ghost Manta Putter (L30+)

1,295 Credits

I LOVED that putter.  I made so many great putts with that level 30 putter that I was VERY tempted to go back to it when I started trying the Nike putters.  But it does cost nearly 1,300 credits.

Pedrito -- The only advice given to me about putters is never buy one until after you've had the chance to throw it so you know how it feels in your grip and leaving your grip.  B  : )

   What i meant by look no further was . 5 minutes after that i gifted SMOK3Y22 a set of Nike irons . All he had was starter clubs . Now he can focus on a driver or something like wedges  . I went to message him this evening because I had not heard from him or seen the WGT reply from his accepting the irons . I saw that he still lists the WGT iron set in his bag . So when I tried to regift  them to see if it was declined because he already owns them . Which is the best way to see if your purchase went through . It was declined . So he has them and doesn't know it .
  I have come to the conclusion that he is either a mobile or tablet or ipad user . They very often turn off email and other notifications ( to increase game performance ) . So he probably does not even know he has them .
  He will eventually see them .
