I am still active! Some may argue with that. Great game great friends made from here how could I stay away. Thunderbird my clan mate also started June of 2007 . Geesh. In isolation now as many are and glad we still have game to play.Tough times now but many friends here and still support each other. i have been playing on i pad for a few years so thats why I havent been on forum here. Maybe a merge? Peace ty for sleeve!!!

This fella and IRISHKING1916 both joined WGT in June 2007, but his user ID suggests that he joined tad earlier than Karl did. (The user ID of putter2eyes is 30,585 and Karl's being 33,527.)
This search would've never been conducted if it wasn't the COVID-19 confinement.

Aren't these old players truly amazing? I mean playing a game in a regular basis for more than a decade?? They surely deserve some respect and rewards for that. It'd be even nicer and more significant if WGT recognizes and shows little appreciations to these loyal customers.ScottHope

They are so tight , they squeak . Look at what a CC goes through in the CLASHes . If they do well , like fight and scratch for a year to get to 3rd place . They get a pack of balls .
The other 4000 participating CC's get zilch .

Back in Feb. 2012 someone said to me ,there is a golf game i think you might like.
My reply was , i have never, ever played real golf ,why would i want to play an online golf game . Three months later i decided to take a look and as they say the rest is history.
i have always played this game for fun and along the way i have met some great people that i can truly say they are my friends and always will be.
So thank you very much for the acknowledgement and well done to every other player that has stayed the course for many years ,are we all insane lol .

I couldn't agree more . But I feel that there are many milestones and accomplishments and achievements and records that individual players and CC's have been doing all along that are worthy of those prizes or rewards or whatever you want to call them .I think WGT dropped the ball years ago by not incorporating just rewards into the results .SimonTheBeetle:
LOL No, I meant more like... I dunno... a Gold Putter, unlimited supply of balls of his/her choice, Amazon Gift Card worth $1,000, etc.
I consider trophies , awards .
I just randomly picked 12 years plus . To hopefully minimize the trophies I would be making lol .

CONGRATS to you TRAILBLAZERS .
Now I'm thinking the criteria to be prior to 2010 .
I'm pretty psyched to have come up with 20 so far . I am sure there are a lot more .
lol I just found 20 more, I wouldn't be surprised if I come up with 200 or 2000 .
Just found this .

I am now committed to recognizing all of them . As they should be . A tribute . For so many reasons . Their tenacity , perseverance , paving the way , dedication . Not the least of which to have a trophy to be proud of . One like this that represents so much . Well deserved . Some may not have ever received a trophy for their contributions . I hope they understand this . As it is possible that in a mere 6 months . It may be too late to say thank you .
This GR8 platform . May not be the main and only game in town . The focus is likely to change . This whole wonderful universe may just fade away .
So I better get to work .
Thank you TRAILBLAZERS .
There is no way I can thank everyone properly . There will be a lot of trophies prior to 2010 . But the 10's possibly 100's of thousands of players from 2010 and 2011 . Are just as worthy . Some even more so .
As much as I would like to . I cannot make that many trophies . I couldn't possibly even gather up all of your names .
But I can tell you right here . That when I came up . So many of you stepped up . I was overwhelmed with humanity . It inspired me to go " balls to the wall ". For years . At first I had way over 500 friends on my list .
TOOK A LONG TIME FOR MY STUBBORN ...............
It was very hard for me to have to delete so many of those GR8 people from all over the world . That I had met in my thousands of ranked rounds . And Match play rounds . Where I met some old timers with 15,000 , 20,000 , 25,000 Match play rounds under their belt . They were so cool . Tons of stories and information and help . A few of them even let me win a few Matches .
By then I had a CC . Had to delete them . Many were ready to leave the game by then . But it was still hard .
So all of you 2010 and 2011 players / members . My hat is off to you , a big bow , a handshake , and a thank you . As well .
You can see the trophies herepdb1

Is there something easier than clicking on the profile ? Seeing a start date of 2007 , 2008 , 2009 . Then scrolling down to see if they are active ?
I don't think so .
It is a bummer for me to find so many that stopped playing in Jan , Feb , Mar , Apr , even May . Probably 75% of the pre 2010 players I have viewed stopped playing this year . So far I would say that to be over 200 players .
I doubt they will be back . Considering the present state of things .

For anyone that doesn't know me . I ran a small but strong CC for 5 years . Valley of the Sun Casual Club .
I was a fully involved owner . To say the least . One of my main things was recognizing every member along their journey . From their firsts , their bests , their longests , and their wins . And other accolades as they came about . Participation , humanity , selflessness , creativity , humor , contributions , etc .
I made trophies for all those things and more . A trophy making fool . I also award first posters in the WGT forums with a 1st poster award . " WGT KICK ASS 1ST POSTER AWARD " . Some ( forum experts ) found it hard to believe I was serious and not mocking them . I felt it was a motivator . A positive push to encourage more posting . To help them feel more comfortable .Turns out I was right .
I have awarded trophies to some of the amazing Andyson Memorial Tournament contributors . IE: PaulTon , SidersBest , etc . I also have a tribute to Andyson . In my website . A man I fought toe to toe with in these forums . But I respected the hell out of him .
So anyway . I gotta leave for work here in a few . But I find myself totally in awe of this group of " TRAILBLAZERS " . I want to recognize them with trophies . The list is going to be large . But limited to active players who started prior to 2010 . Although as I said above , 2010 & 2011 players and many many players of all years are just as worthy . But there are probably several hundred thousand of them . And even compiling a list of those . Is something not even ColumbusStorm would undertake .This is for the very 1st TRAILBLAZERS that are still blazing .
I am already gathering names ( slowly ) . Going through old CC Club owners friends lists and some of their members lists . Every single one of them . ( I found active 2009 players at the top of the first page just joining that CC ) Eliminating all but 2007 , 2008 , 2009 active or active as recent as May . ( because with things as they are . Little chance they will return before December ) . I ( we ) had better start now if ( we ) want to thank these " TRAILBLAZERS " .
And I say " we " . Because first I am going to ask if you all are behind me on this ? Second if that is the case . GR8 Thanx . Then I am going to ask your opinions on the best way to pay this tribute . Then I am going to ask that you help me and submit some of these active TRAILBLAZERS names for me . To make trophies for .
If you all don't feel this like I do . Then majority rules . And I will just do it myself . In my own small way .
Thank you .olazabal

I got really good early and then they bumped me up so fast I couldn't even hit some of the fairways.
The better you got the farther back they moved your t-box.
I also have only ever played on a Mac, hence the high score.
The game looks terrible on my 5K iMac but looks very good on my iPad Pro.
Cheers!

I am probably here under false pretensis.Although I signed up in 2009, back then probably only played half a dozen CTTH games. Had never even played a golf game before and had no idea.
Actually got serious in June 2011. Remember playing the VUSO qualifier at Congressional and best score was 127, Royal St Georges qualifier was worse about 144. Played pretty much everyday since then. Played real golf with several other members, chatted and made friends on skype etc
Fair to say I am not as keen these days, but involved with a sensational group of people in a wonderful country club and without that would be no longer here

That was over 5 years ago . I couldn't fathom to guess the numbers now .EasyEdward:
About 18 months ago Shoe mentioned in the Forum that there were in excess of 44,000 CCs in WGT.
So by now any number between 50,000 and 60,000 is probably equally likely.
...............
It takes quite a bit to view every member on over 10 members 250 member " friend's list " .
Over 2500 members . Have found 114 still active players . Who started before 2010 .
I am going to make the last 18 trophies . Then that will be it . It is just too much work . Or I would keep going .
Of course if it were easier . I could come up with thousands of still active pre 2010 members .
I really feel like this group deserves this award .
Thanx again you Old Timer's . For starting it off . Paving the way . Keeping it going till the dying end .

It is taking some 3 & 4 days for my moderated posts to show . Some not showing at all .
So I want to take this space to thank SidersBest .
First for pointing out the need to recognize these GR8 " TRAILBLAZERS " . And starting this cool thread . Which finding himself involved with other generous and selfless efforts . SidersBest seems to do quite often . He's just got it like that .
Thank you .
Lastly . I want to apologize for hijacking his thread . I thought about starting a new one for " TRAILBLAZERS " . But this is where it started . So this is where it stays . And I think I will be forgiven . As this is going very well .
Thank you again SidersBest .

Anyways it has been a joy to play the game even if it has cost me thousands, back when I could afford to do so, over the years.
I have met some really great people in that time and more recently have met many more through playing in The world Cup with my club Brookline CC.
Most of the people mentioned here would have started playing on the PC version and hopefully due to this exercise WGT might realize that although mobile arcade type games might be the future it is your core support who has allowed you to grow and become one of the most if not the most popular golf game on the planet.
I am trying to come to grips with the PCEA version that has been released. But after almost 19 years it is proving to be very difficult too change what is basically imprinted on my memory when it come to the greens and winds which seem to play vastly different on the App as opposed to the old flash version.
I turn 64 today so in effect have played this game in my 40''s 50's and 60's
Isn't it time there was a seniors tour Ha Ha
Thank you again for the award and recognition

This is the part that is so not clear to us . I , you , we , almost everyone has been " trying to come to grips with the PCEA version ".Trinbagoboy:
it is your core support who has allowed you to grow and become one of the most if not the most popular golf game on the planet.
I'm not feeling it . My meter was completely stuck today .
Anytime you can catch the meter in the bar with a screen shot . You know it's either stuck or slow .
It was doing both .
The jury is still out . Many people seem fine with the PCEA and are all on board .
I do think the majority are not happy or undecided .
If WGT is listening to you , us , anyone . It is very hard to tell . I do not think we have any weight in any decisions .
Your " TRAILBLAZER " award . Is coming to you from the Independent WGT Universe . Your peers and fellow players . That recognize and appreciate your longevity and perseverance .
Thank you sir .
btw still on moderation but posts finally showed up .

So I was constantly moving . Back and forth copying , pasting . Making tourneys , making trophies , copying leaderboards , posts , replies , etc . Everyday it was endless .
At that time I also used a Maxthon version that enabled split screen . I loved it . It was basically cheating , doing all the stuff I did . Lol . Split screen just made it twice as fast and easy .
But every so often I would hit the back button . Or I was just going too fast . Or there was an error . Or accidentally delete And I would lose a full page of something I had just written . Or a full page of names of players in a tourney . Or a full page of freshly made trophies .
BAM . Vanished . I did that stuff for years . So losing all of a certain effort happened more than I can count .
At first you get a rush of realization of what just occurred . Then an OOHSHEEITTT!! I freakin did it again . Then I'd have to decide if it was worth starting over right then . While it was fresh on my mind . Usually I didn't really have a choice . It was what I did . So I would start over .
That hasn't happened for a couple years . Until just now . The next list of " TRAILBLAZERS " Probably over 30 names . About 3 2 hour sessions . GONE . This hasn't happened for a while . ( crap I just said that ) . This is such a different type of project . This is not something that people are waiting on like the results of a tourney or the next bracket . Knowing I am going to post whatever it is . Because that was my job . so to speak .
No . This is completely just research . Voluntary to myself . I find it fascinating . Zipping through each profile . Getting an idea of how many pre 2010ers each CC owner knows . That are active .Then how many do the pre 2010ers in that CC know . For the most part . It has been the members/players that have more on their friends list than the owners do .
Another surprising thing is how much smaller some of the CC's are .
Something else I was appalled at . Is I found several fairly popular CC's with as little as 1/2 (half) the number of friends on the owners list than the owner has members in the CC . I'm talking a few fully active CC's . A couple way below 250 . I just don't get it . How can one lead a CC . With not knowing ( by way of friend ) to be able to at least say BOO to them . I don't know . To each their own .
There is one tiny small consolation this time . From losing those 30 + pre 2010 active members .
This time I copy and pasted their CC's and saved them to a separate page . I had noticed that I had never heard of any of them before . And were not on my extensive list of CC's . And I didn't lose that . So at some point in my search .will likely recover the names I lost . And likely find 3 times more while finding them .
Sounds like I will be continuing . I have slowed this way down to maybe a couple few times a week .
Here are screen shots of the trophies so far . A little easier viewing than on page 3 . And if you squint your eyes . Or magnify the page a little . You can read the title of the trophy with the name of the " TRAILBLAZER " . The names on the trophies themselves are very difficult to read . Although I take GR8 efforts in making them as readable as I can .
More KICK ASS WGT GR8'sSpecial awards
WGT 1st Posters
These are all WGTers . No CC's in these lists .
These lists are very small compared to the trophies and awards I made in and for VOTSCC . But they have the same intent and meaning .DaTurk

I have responded to everyone on the next 2 pages . All the way through to CraigSwan .
The moderators are holding up my posts . Because I challenged them for arbitrarily choosing posts not to post . They said they had that right and would continue to do so . Even though I have broken no rules .
They have that much power . There is nothing I can do about it . One may wonder why I stay here at all .
This thread would be one of the only examples of my being able to give back to the game I enjoyed for so many years .
Some of your reactions and responses . Really make me smile . That is golden . Thank you .Cotton949

He was in the last batch that took the count to 220 pre 2010 active players . Not that many . But there is no end in sight . Wasn't easy finding them either .
I did find a player with over 1600 friends on his list 90 % have been gone for years . A lot started before 2010 and gone before 2010 . But most started before 2012 and were gone before 2012 . All Tour Pro and Masters . Really strange . It's lists like that that I find the most active players . Still very few . Have to go through hundreds to get a dozen or so .pdb1

I don't care for it and I'll be very sad once or if they switch to this knockoff version of the game.
But, over time I could get used to playing just about anything if I really wanted too. It just doesn't bring me joy to play it. Not like our decade's old flash version. lol

I'm not a computer gamer, and am a very beginner real golfer.
I found WGT by accident surfing the web in 2009 and got hooked.
Its a great game, with great players. I've enjoyed many hours of

Here since june 2010
And I am sure that the largest group of " ORIGINAL " players remaining active . Is from 2010 . As many as I see in my search .
" ORIGINAL " players are basically the same as " TRAILBLAZERS " . But way too large of a group to collect . Unless someone else wants to .
Kudos to all " LONGTIMERS " .
:;:;:;:;:;:;:;:;:;:;
Here is a perfect example . They haven't posted my response to SteveOx . In it I say Welcome back .

Greetings,
Checking my account, I see that 2011 was when I began WGT. That was probably shortly after my last actual video gaming console system left me. I remember SAGA!!!! and the it's great commercials. Dating myself here but I'm quite sure I was the first person living in New Hampshire to own the original Nintendo home system. There were about 8 games available, as that number grew some friends and myself bought a couple more systems and as many games as we could - there was no Amazon back then or even a place to order online - as it was becoming popular we were putting them in the few stores in our little rural towns in the White Mountains. We paid for our Football Sunday pizza and beer and more games for ourselves. I can remember having about 10 people sitting around our living room on rainy days watching as we played baseball head to head. It was a riot - anyone listening would think the spectators were actually watching a World Series game.
THE BEST ORIGINAL NINTENDO GAMES
- Baseball - Excitabike - Golf (too funny for words compared with even the original slow WGT) - Hockey & Football.
Our golf club was directly across the street from the old farm house that was home to about 6 of us. My Dad bought the house with a big old barn and acres of old farmland when I was about 5, when I was 6 he started building a golf course there and for the next several summers my days were spent digging for arrowheads, pottery, flintlocks and musket ramrods left from a famous war between the British and Native Americans that very area was the center of in the late 1600's. These days no way would my Dad have been able to start constructing much of anything at such a historic site. It's still called what my Dad named it, "Indian Mound Golf Club" in little Center Ossipee, New Hampshire, south of the state's biggest tourist site, Mt. Washington Valley - Conway, North Conway, Bartlett, Glen.
My Dad eventually ended up selling out to unwelcome partners when I was about 12, by then it was 9 holes and on a good day I could shoot a 50, which allowed me to play with practically any member. It was bought about 10 years ago by a family I knew from up in "The Valley," a brother and sister that both worked at another old famous NH course, "Hale's Location." Anyway, one day the new owner asked me if Indians were really buried in the mound that I watched being shaved down to make a Tee Box for a par 3. "No," I said but countless "Native Americans are," why do you ask" I said. (I happen to be 1/4 Native American and ribbed him) He told me how these people had been there that had written a book called "The Indian Mounds Of New England." They had told him that excavations from Rhode Island to northern Maine showed that the mounds were filled with fresh water muscle shells and fish bones. Once or twice a year tribes would get together and have a feast, then the artists among them would bury them over the years they got higher and higher. They also said that very few - if any - of the tribes practice this kind of burial.
I said, "yeah, I've read that book, it's interesting but I have better evidence than any of those that wrote it. I actually saw a human forearm bone that was unearthed when a bulldozer was shaping the edge of the Mound." It's unforgettable for me for many reasons, most notably because I'm a history geek and traced my Native American heritage to the Iroquois tribes that participated in the great battle - which I wrote about in college, calling the historic war started by a British Captain that towns and streets were later named after, "Custer Of The East." Multiple tribes came together after a legendary Chief was killed and killed off the British Rangers then burned their fort which was where the 2nd green of the course is.
Anyway, what I was wondering is what happens after Flash is no longer available? Are all our stats lost as it transfers to the other WGT platform?
Regards,
Jeff

I don't think you'll have to worry about your stats. Somehow on the new platform they will continue on and be viewable. I can't imagine there being any other answer to that one.
It's a Small world. You know Arizona has some very beautiful White Mountains as well. And a very big " Valley ". The Valley of the SUN .

On Friday I wrote a response to MioKontic ( below ). It is so freaking irritating waiting for the mods . And lately they only post about half of what I post . Because they can . Some of those posts probably took me a half an hour to an hour to write . I barely post anymore . After I get as far as I am going to go with this " TRAILBAZER " project . I will be done . Reminds me of an interview martin o'neil the former irish football manager had with the press before the world football world cup .
He was asked that since the english team were taking their women with them what would the irish players be allowed to do .
He looked straight at the camera and with a straight face he said .
I don't mind the pretty one's coming with us but there will be no ugly women allowed .

I have a player in my CC who is said to be in his 90's and plays daily and still is a top 5 player, I dont know his age, but I have known him since 2011, and he does post his picture and he looks remarkable for a man of 65, but the same picture since 2011, I wont mention his name but we also have players in there seventies who compete very well in our small club, and it stays small by design, we never go over 45 players, we like knowing each other, and these guys are active, if someone doesn't play 5 to 10 games a week or a 20 game month, there released and we have some players with us since the club opened 2011, like 10 players, and others 5 years or more, I believe this game is a real life saver, you build real friend ships, we talk on discord, and a young player is in his late 40's lol. A year later I gave it another go, determined to learn what worked and what didn't , and (being a retired engineer) began taking data on different spins, carry & roll for all my clubs, wind influence, etc etc..
I also combed the forums for useful nuggets of info, and contributed my results to the discussion if it seemed that would help. Since then it's been 2 - 4 games a day for the last 10 years, rain or shine.

There were only TWO CTTH games available when I joined - Kiawah (Front 9) and Bali Hai. No stroke play and no other courses. No Pro Shop. No choice of balls - EVERYONE played with the silly putty starter "free" ball that still exists today. Everyone played with the same set of starter clubs as well.
Like I said - I was not sure exactly what WGT was supposed to be - I thought it was a promotion for Kiawah Golf at first.
Finally...eventually Stroke Play was rolled out.....Front 9 of Kiawah ONLY - the Back 9 of Kiawah got Stroke Play some months later.
In the meantime, I played. I got good at it - though it was tough to control the ball because it performed the same as the starter ball still does today.
At some point Tiers came along - but at first there were only 4 Tiers - Hack, Amateur, Pro, and Master. Levels did not exist at all - I think those came around 2014? (my best guess).
We played it in that very basic state for about a year.....and then Bethpage Black landed - a CTTH (Front 9) came first and then Stroke Play on all 18 holes became available.
There were distinct problems SUCH AS on Bethpage Hole #5, the driver (which I think had a Max distance of 225) could not drive the basic starter ball far enough to reach the fairway! All of us were raising holy hell about it in the forums....Everyone was fed up with playing WGT because we always knew we would be in the short/right side fairway bunkers on the drive on Bethpage #5. There were other sorrows, too. On Bethpage #7 the green was not reachable in 2 shots either - the hole was simply longer than anyone's firepower with the basic clubs and ball.
After a week or 2 of this, WGT rolled out the Pro Shop - everyone could now get longer clubs and there were some ball choices as well - a small variety BUT the available items cured the problems I identified above.
Those early days were some unique times. LOL
Thanks for the Memories, AtlantaCoaster

Duly noted . You are on the list for the next batch of trophies ,seniorbruno:
Started Dec 2008. Been a long ride. Been in East Coast since 2012.
All of the original " TRAILBLAZER " trophies can be found on page 3 .
In the thread Is this WGT's oldest active player? And on each of their profiles .
As of Sat, Sep 12 2020 12:43 PM
Here are the 405 " TRAILBLAZERS " . I have found so far .
Still trying to get to 500 .
I appreciate you coming forth . I would have likely not found your profile . I am only finding 1 active pre 2010er per 100 profiles that I view . Some people have 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , pages of long inactive players . But you don't know if you don't click on the profile . Then scroll about a half an inch to see the Score History . If there is a 2020 . Then I scroll to see the last month played . If they only played once in April or May . I won't save it . But if they are active up until the present or back a couple few months . They get a trophy .
So I make trophies in batches of about 30 saved players . That is at least 300 scanned profiles . That usually takes at least a week or so .
I started this on May 6 . About 4 months . Over 16 weeks . Comes out to about 25 per week .
I can't believe I committed to 500 . They are getting fewer and farther in between . But I will get there . That will be all that I will have access to As it will be the end of the one player leads me to another CC and then a player there leads me to another CC and so on and so on . That ends because I have stopped looking at the CC's .
Considering I will have only scanned a couple few hundred CC's . Many of those are pretty obscure . The fact is that there are over 60,000 CC's . Of which I guess I can admit there must be thousands more active pre 2010 WGTers in .
Even if I had a list of those CC's . I would not attempt to look for anymore " TRAILBLAZERS " . Once I hit 500 .seniorbruno

I've often thought about the WGT Trailblazers, but had no idea you had done major research in this...I DO MEAN MAJOR!!!!!
I feel there is a select few of "Distinguished Gentlemen" that do some outstanding work regarding the early days of WGT. You, along with your very creative awards, are among the class acts of WGT.
So I toast your health. May we drink one together in ten years time, and a few in between.pdb1

I have many lists in alphabetical order .EasyEdward:
Hey Paul do you have an alphabetized list of all the players you have found?
The " TRAILBLAZER " list started out that way . But quickly stopped it . I save profiles of people I have some sort of interaction or exchange or so .
The " TRAILBLAZERS " don't really fit in that category . I only have a few of the " TRAILBLAZERS " profiles saved . I will go through it at some point and save the profiles . Which will automatically put them in alphabetical order .
On this page . There is the full updated list of mini " TRAILBLAZER " trophies . But they are not alphabetical .
On this page . Is the full updated list of " TRAILBAZERS " names . Although not alphabetical .
On this page . Is a new list of Avatars . Alphabetical . Over 1000 .SaskGopher

I did some research on this a few years ago. I didn't update the active vs. non-active for the complete list. I limited my search on anyone who signed up before April 1, 2008. I just found that after that date, there were HUNDREDS of sign-ups. Before April 1, 2008, I could only find 44. Here they are. If I missed anyone, let me know. Thanks.
Missed one,

Back in 2007, WGT was just a demo site! Didn't really have official opening until October 2008.
You have 16 players that PREDATE the opening! Wow!
I see Tigerwee is still active but I can't find Bonzz as active.
SUPER DISCOVERY JOB!
As for Travis, yes there was a Travis from June 2007 but I'm not sure he even played a single game. There is no evidence that he did anything other than signing up. But I will ad him to the list. Thank you.
Amazing work!

- Are the only 2 active players ( per my criteria ) . That haven't received trophy's yet .
- But in gathering the almost 500 active players . I viewed nearly 5000 profiles . I saw over 3000 players with pre 2010 start dates . Easily 1000 from 2007 . All but the ones I list plus tigerwee and MikeNJ are inactive .
- Over 100 " TRAILBLAZERS " have 2007 start dates

Yes, I did miss Thunderbird. And he is still very much active. I added him to the list above and to my official Spreadsheet. Thank you for that input.

Your welcome Lefty. Thank you for being such a strong supporter for all these years... over 11 years. That's amazing. And how time flies.Lefty2004:
I should check my wall more often! Thanks for the recognition! Been a player since June 2009. Took a few years off but am back strong since working from home became a thing. Had to relearn putting on the new WGT Launcher platform but I like the game more than ever and won't miss flash for a minute.
Thanks again!

Will anyone ever catch up to Yankee? Not likely. Currently the most active poster is Craig. If he averaged 3 posts per day, It would take him 7 years to catch up, that's if Yankee stops posting. Even if he went crazy with the posts and averaged 6 posts EVERY day, it would still take him 3.5 years to catch up (based on Yankee not posting anything himself in the next 3.5 years). Will Craig ever make it to # 2 on the list? Yes

LOL Not that old but sort of this type rather... FYI, the beauty in the video only has some 350 miles on her!!
As far as the game's concerned, oh yes, a lot of changes indeed, so much so that you must be feeling like you're playing a different game. All the parameters are basically identical though so you'll be doing just fine with some practice along the way. Welcome back and good luck! :-)
Pretty cool, thanksdaytonidiots

In search for the Bali Hai thread that I referred to elsewhere, I came across this one. As you are in contact with PatchNotes, I think it would make for a very interesting video to have IrishKing on as a guest to talk about the early days of WGT and the 9-hole CTTH at Kiawah (I think), and how things changed in those early days/years. By the time I started playing in November 2010 WGT had already introduced the Tour Master and Legend tiers a couple of months earlier, and apparently there was a rather big outcry from players that had got bumped up a couple of tiers to play off the back tees with starter clubs. And even when I joined we only had WGT balls. In my opinion those were the days of skillful golf, unlike the game we have now where you fire darts at a target.
If there is already a video of IrishKing being interviewed I'd love to see it (I've looked at PatchNotes videos on Twitch but there doesn't seem to be a way of knowing who was in which video).
